I have a degree in Web page, digital/multimedia and information resources design and I was supposed to work in web publishing/media industry as a web designer. :) At the start of my career, my job was to introduce (traditional) graphic designers focused on paper products to web design and also to form a web development team. Since the graphic design was mostly covered by my colleagues, my focus was on software engineering and web development. Eventually I completely switched to software dev and left the web design behind. :)

Started with PHP based web development. Designing databases, coding PHP, laying out Web pages based on my own designs or contributed designs. Later focused on the Flash platform building single page apps with Flex framework (stateful, desktop like applications). At this time I already stopped with professional graphic design work and completely shifted my focus on the software engineering and development. After Flash platform experience and client side focus I switched to Java based service development, which is also my current occupation.

I'm interested in learning all aspects of software engineering and also share my experience with the others.
