I'm an Enterprise Architect at Pearson VUE in Minneapolis, interested in developer productivity and automation. CI is the backbone of that. Too often I see developers dashing their heads against repeated manual processes, and management adding more process and controls in the interest of quality and efficiency.
I want to better understand the role of CI, and all the tasks that can be run under that umbrella to unlock new modes of low-ceremony, fast-feedback conduct that improves quality and productivity WITHOUT additional process and overhead.
I'm also helping to promote the pre-CITCON Gradle Event and am happy to try and arrange transportation for out-of-town folks to that event.
