  • Scripts are JavaScript-based
  • Scripts can be subject to hanging (especially with popups) although "click and wait" has been a sufficient workaround for some.
  • Selenium does have a script recorder.

  • The Selenium IDE can generate scripts in multiple formats: XML, JavaScript, etc..
