As a Test Lead, I primarily deal with automation, specifically around the notion of "skilling up" testing, by moving away from established heavyweight and restrictive commercial tools, and moving to lean tools and processes that have open ended capabilities.

I've been testing both here in Australia and abroad for about 10 years, 5 of which at Microsoft in Redmond and I presently work in open thinking / lean development environments.

I believe in blurring the line between dev and test. I believe that testing can be better, not necessarily harder- but definitely better and it is something I strive towards everyday...
