P.J. (at www.radiantedges.com) is working on an AI platform for businesses folk.
Platform demo is about a business user trying to query databases of an order management system for any orders that are blocked via web chat UI and Slack.
As the team built the platform they came up with these 5 important characteristics that most AI platforms or AI deployments are most likely missing:


1. Governance
* Who can create agents?
* What can the user (and the agents they create) access?
* How do you maintain control?

2. Integration
* How do agents connect to systems?
* Where does work actually happen?

3. Observability
* How do we understand what agents?

4. Multi-Agent Collaboration
* What becomes possible when specialised agents work together?

5. Deployment Sovereignty
* Can the platform run where your business requirements? Saas/Private Cloud/OnPremises


Examples:
Supply Chain Management (see other session) can we deny outside access? Like querying outside data sources?

Anecdote:
* Who can create agents?
** Croatia - the Excel report running on Monday morning slowed everything down
** Who controls whether or not a user (or an agent) can run a "select *" type query

Traceability/Observability allow us to see

Ad hoc reporting
* What does this mean for data isolation? Are we throwing out years of experience with practices?

Should we be creating deterministic tools instead of non-deterministic agents?

Could the platform decide for us when to go from a version-controlled prompt to a standalone deterministic tool?

The agent's prompt could be smart about how to go about selecting data.

Could we anticipate all the eventualities?

Does Radiant Edges expect companies to have internal IT?

* In the case of a company having internal IT, they might provide us with UAT environments where customers could feel at liberty to be more aggressive

By being divorced from hardcoded queries our agents can be far more resilient.
