Jake was once a high school physics teacher, then he apprenticed at Object Mentor for a few months, got a job with ThoughtWorks (stayed there 4 years), and now he's a consultant at Obtiva. His open source project, metric_fu, lets you generate metrics about your Ruby application and easily establish a daily metrics build with CruiseControl.rb. He's also got a blog with the boring, yet accurate, title Jake Scruggs.
